Grays Harbor PUD is accepting applications for a hiring pool of applicants for future vacancies in our Journeyman Lineman position.  We may not have a vacancy to fill at this time; however, we anticipate having Journeyman Lineman vacancies open up over the course of the next twelve (12) months.  This posting is to establish a pool of qualified applicants that we may draw from over the next year. 

Journeyman Lineman responsibilities include construction, maintenance & extension of overhead and underground electrical power systems.

Applicants should have thorough knowledge of fundamentals of electrical theory & safety rules; high and low voltage lines; commonly used tools and materials of the trade.  Must have successfully completed a Journeyman Line Apprenticeship recognized by the NJATC and IBEW.  Possession of a Class A CDL is required.  Successful applicant must pass a physical capacities test. Hourly Wage Rate:  Effective April 1, 2020

                                                $48.83
