The PUD has multiple COVID-19 Assistance Program for customers who need assistance paying their bills due to economic hardships resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. Disconnects for non-payment and late fees are currently suspended per Governor's Proclamation 20-23.7.

Temporary engineering intern positions are available during the 2021 summer months to provide assistance in the engineering department at Grays Harbor PUD.  A limited number of positions will be available.  

Position: Temporary Engineering Intern

Status:  Temporary, full-time, non-exempt, non-represented positions

      (Not to exceed four (4) months in calendar year)

Closing Date:  February 26, 2021

Requirements:

To qualify, students must be 18 years of age, be enrolled in an accredited engineering program or pre-engineering program at a recognized college or university.  Preference is given to those enrolled in the Electrical Engineering (power emphasis) program.

Student employees are not eligible for fringe benefits; nor do they accrue seniority.  Student employees will accrue Paid Sick Leave beginning at the start of employment in accordance with the District’s Paid and Other Leave policy.  By nature of the definition of an eligible position, membership in the Washington State Retirement System will not apply to student employees.
