The PUD has multiple COVID-19 Assistance Program for customers who need assistance paying their bills due to economic hardships resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. Disconnects for non-payment and late fees are currently suspended per Governor's Proclamation 20-23.7.

Grays Harbor Public Utility District is seeking a full-time Operations Director to oversee Line, Operations, Contract Construction, System Dispatch, Safety and Environmental, and Fleet Departments. Duties and tasks include performance management and setting strategic direction for supervisors and superintendents, employee hiring and development, work planning, collaborative problem solving and coordination with other departments, managing change, and budgeting, all in support of the safe, reliable delivery of high value utility services by professionally constructing, operating and maintaining the District’s systems.

Required qualifications include ten (10) years of directly related electric utility experience, including five (5) years in a leadership/supervisory capacity; or other closely related experience.  Preferred qualifications include Journey-level certification; Bachelor’s degree in construction science or engineering or related field, or equivalent education and/or experience; experience supervising union employees and interpreting and administering collective bargaining agreements; experience managing utility operations functions; knowledge of collective bargaining agreements and negotiation methods. Please review the associated job description for more information.
