Project HELP

The citizens of Grays Harbor have big hearts and are always willing to help out a neighbor when needed. Grays Harbor PUD and the Coastal Community Action Program (CCAP) are asking you to help a neighbor by supporting the Project Help Program. This program gives you a chance to help local families when circumstances have made it impossible for them to pay their heating bills. Project Help began in 1984 and has helped many neighbors in need.

The customers of Grays Harbor PUD can contribute a small amount with their electric bill each month or make a one time donation. Fill out the pledge payment coupon and return it with your monthly bill. There are NO administrative costs deducted by the Grays Harbor PUD or CCAP from the contributions. Of the contributions received, 100% go to CCAP, who in turn directs the funds to helping families in need.

The funds go directly to pay heating bills. The funds also assist low income families with the deposit required for new PUD electric service. These deposits are returned to Project Help if the family moves. This allows the funds to be recycled and to continue helping families.

CCAP administers the program. Requests for assistance, program qualification, and the distribution of funds are handled by their office. If your family needs assistance contact CCAP at (360) 533-5100. Rural area residents may call toll-free at 1-800-828-4883.

Grays Harbor PUD and the Coastal Community Action Program want to extend a heartfelt thank you from all of the recipients for your donations.
